What we
draw.

Six services that usually arrive three at a time. Most clients come to us with a package that has stalled — a spec that can't be built as written, or a drawing set a fabricator has sent back.

CAD Drafting

Production drafting to your standards, not ours. We adopt your layer scheme, line weights and title block on day one so the output drops straight into your set.

What you get

  • Coordinated sheet sets at agreed scales, A3 to A0
  • Layers, line weights and title blocks to your CAD standard
  • 3D models where they earn their keep — not for the sake of it
  • Native files plus flattened PDFs for issue

How it starts

Starting point
Survey sketches, legacy DWGs, or photos with dimensions
You provide
Your CAD standard and title block, if you have one
Deliverables
DWG · DXF · PDF

Technical Detailing

The part most packages skip. Junctions, fixings, thresholds and interfaces drawn large enough that nobody on site has to improvise.

What you get

  • Junctions resolved at 1:5 and 1:2
  • Fixing schedules with substrate and pull-out noted
  • Tolerance and clearance stated on the drawing, not assumed
  • Weld symbols to BS EN ISO 2553

How it starts

Starting point
GA drawings and the structural interface

Site constraints and any known clashes

Security Door Design

Doorsets designed around the certification route from the first sketch — because retrofitting a rating onto a finished design rarely works and always costs.

What you get

  • Leaf and frame build-ups suited to the target rating
  • Anchor layouts and frame reinforcement sized to the substrate
  • Ironmongery reinforcement drawn, not left to the fitter
  • The test evidence trail kept intact and referenced on the drawing

How it starts

Starting point
Required rating — LPS 1175 SR2–SR5, PAS 24, STS 202
You provide
Opening sizes, plus fire and acoustic targets

Fire Door Consultancy

FD30 to FD120 assemblies checked against the evidence that actually covers them, so the doorset you build is the doorset that was tested.

What you get

  • Assemblies checked against test evidence and field-of-application
  • Ironmongery schedules that keep the classification valid
  • Seal positions drawn to the tested assembly
  • Gap and clearance checks at head, jambs and threshold

How it starts

Starting point
Classification report or test evidence for the assembly
You provide
Door schedule and intended ironmongery

BIM & PDM Support

Set up properly once, and a busy job stops eating itself. Most of the mess we are asked to fix started as a naming convention nobody agreed.

What you get

  • Parametric Revit families that behave when someone else edits them
  • SolidWorks PDM vault structure, states and workflow
  • A naming and revision scheme your whole team can follow
  • Permission groups so the right people can approve

How it starts

Starting point
Your existing model or vault, however it looks

Construction Documentation

The paperwork around the drawings, run properly — so six months later everyone can still prove what was issued, when, and to whom.

What you get

  • Drawing register maintained through the job
  • Transmittals on issue, with distribution recorded
  • Revision control from P01 preliminary to C01 issued for construction
  • RFI responses answered against the same model

How it starts

Starting point
Your issue schedule and distribution list
You provide
Access to the project folder or vault

Three ways to use us

Most clients start with a package and move to a retainer once the flow is steady. See the packages these add up to →

Model A

Per package

A fixed fee against a defined scope, agreed before we start. You know the number and the date up front.

Best forA single doorset type, or a one-off metalwork package.

Model B

Retained drawing office

A set number of days each month, reserved for you. We learn your standards once and stop asking the same questions.

Best forManufacturers with a steady flow of jobs and no in-house drafter.

Model C

Overflow support

We pick up work when your own team is at capacity, in your file structure, so nothing needs re-doing afterwards.

Best forTender peaks and programme crunches.

Questions we get asked

Can you certify a doorset?

No — certification comes from a test house, not from a drawing office, and anyone telling you otherwise is worth avoiding. What we do is design to the certification route you are targeting, keep the evidence trail intact, and make sure the assembly you build is the assembly that was tested.

Can you work inside our PDM vault or shared model?

Yes, and we prefer to. Working in your vault means your revision history stays in one place and nobody has to reconcile two versions later. If you would rather we worked outside it, we will match your naming convention and hand files back ready to check in.

Who owns the drawings?

You do, on payment. We keep an archive copy so we can pick the job back up years later, but the intellectual property in the output is yours.

How quickly can you turn a package around?

It depends on the scope, but as a guide: a feasibility view within a few days, a GA set inside a fortnight, and fabrication drawings after that. We give you a date when we quote and tell you early if anything threatens it.

Do you sign NDAs?

Routinely. A lot of our work is security-related and we expect to be held to it. Send us yours, or we can provide a standard mutual one.

How do you price?

Fixed fee against a defined scope wherever the scope can be defined, and a day rate where it genuinely cannot — early feasibility, or open-ended RFI support. We do not start work on an hourly basis without telling you what we think the total will be.

Send the spec.
Get a real answer.

Drawings, a scope, or a photo of the opening — whatever you have. You'll get a scoped fee and a programme back, usually within two working days.
