Who we are
This website is run by Digital Blitz Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15188021, with its registered office at 2 Saffron Road, Romford, RM5 3ES.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Digital Blitz Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through a form on this site, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, company name, the type of work you need, and your message.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the email, including any drawings or specifications you attach.
Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information for security and to keep the site running — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not use this to identify you.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your enquiry details only to reply to you, to understand the work you need, and to prepare a scope, fee and programme. Where that leads to a job, we use them to run the project with you.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you have sent us — and, where you ask us for a quote or engage us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.
We will not add you to a mailing list, and we will never sell or rent your details.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the service providers we need to run the website and our email — our web hosting provider, and our email provider — who process it on our behalf and under our instructions.
This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. Google may process this outside the UK. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles that data.
We may disclose information if we are required to by law.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies if you log in to the site, or remember your name and email if you leave a comment. These are essential to those features and do not track you across other sites.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails and form submissions for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a project.
If we work together, we keep project records, correspondence and invoices for as long as needed for the project and then for six years, to meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format.
To make any of these requests, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
